This position will work on projects and programs currently in progress in support of our Human Resources, Finance/Payroll, Administration, Fire Prevention, and Training Divisions.  Job duties will include providing general office support, including coverage of reception desk.   

You will be part of a team that is committed to positively impacting and serving the community.  This position is not eligible for benefits, but is eligible for overtime.

WORK SCHEDULE: Work schedule is flexible; Individual will work an average of 24-27 hours per week for approximately 8-10 weeks, Monday - Friday.

COMPENSATION: $16-20 per hour DOE

TO ALL PROVIDERS OF FIRE DEPARTMENT FLEET MAINTENANCE,
BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE:
The Enumclaw Fire Department is requesting proposals from all providers to maintain its fleet of Fire Equipment and Service Equipment, including but not limited to ladder trucks, fire engines, tenders and EMS vehicles, such maintenance to include normal servicing and repairs.
  • Provider must have personnel trained and certified in accordance with WAC 296-305-04507(3) to perform such work on the above equipment.
  • Provider must have mobile repair capability and be available on a 24/7 call out basis.

VALLEY REGIONAL FIRE AUTHORITY

TO APPLY
The Valley Regional Fire Authority has partnered with Public Safety Testing (PST) to conduct the initial testing of candidates which consists of a written test and Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). The written test and valid CPAT through Public Safety Testing must be completed by August 22, 2017 to complete the application process. You must maintain a valid CPAT card as a component of the application process. Public Safety Testing can provide additional information regarding the scoring process and the written and CPAT expiration dates for purposes of the testing process.
Please visit the PST website at www.PublicSafetyTesting.com to complete your application online and select the testing date and/or location most convenient for you. For further information you can contact PST toll-free at 1-866-HIRE-911.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is not required at the time of application. However, candidates are required to obtain a valid EMT certification per Washington State Department of Health requirements at the time of hire. Only those applicants meeting all application procedures and minimum qualifications will be considered for the examination process. If a candidate does not meet application procedures and/or minimum qualifications and therefore is ineligible to continue in the process, the Civil Service Chief Examiner will notify such individual.
