November 29: Fleet Efficiencies

November 29: Fleet Efficiencies

10 - 10:45 AM PST

In this session, we'll discuss strategies, policies and technologies that can help maximize the fuel efficiency of your fleet.

A sustainable transportation policy framework called Avoid-Shift-Improve sets the stage for fleet managers, decision makers, first responders, and drivers to work together to get the most out of every gallon of fuel. Using case studies, we'll explain in detail several fleet efficiency tools such as idle reduction technologies and telematics to demonstrate return-on-investment and the amount of fuel that can be conserved. We'll even highlight how emergency vehicles can use fleet efficiency strategies to reduce fuel use and improve public health. After all, the cleanest, greenest and cheapest gallon of fuel is the one that is never burned!
